« Satan and I walk under a rainbow », premier LP de Sun Cousto, propose une composition réfléchie mais cherchant à garder la fraîcheur et la simplicité inspirées par des groupes tels que Beat Happening ou encore The Vaselines. Mêlant ceci à une brutalité qui s’échappe même à travers des voix cristallines, c’est cela qui crée le son de Sun Cousto. Un son fin mais enveloppé par une vague surf bedroom qui sonne foncièrement vintage alors que cela n’a peut-être jamais été autant actuel. Influences multiples emmagasinés et recrachés comme si de rien n’était, en écoutant Sun Cousto on écoute des mondes qui se rencontrent et qui se collisionnent.
