Have you ever seen a great garage-punk band touring Europe without playing at Horst Klub in Kreuzlingen ? Probably not. Next to the border of Konstanz (Germany), Kreuzlingen is quite a boring rich city. But there is one place to go, the Horst Klub, where the members of Midnight Jerks and their friends are making the city alive.

After many years of fooling around and party hard, they finally recorded their first album. Ode To High is a celebration of raw garage-punk : minimal and efficient drums, groovy bass line, fucked up melodic solos and a distorted voice, abusing of the effects. It’s a damn beautiful chaos, influenced by the Back From The Grave compilations, garage unknown tunes from the sixties, the Velvet Underground and 90’s garage bands like The Gories. They’re called Midnight Jerks, and if you have the bad luck to hang out with them for a night, you will probably feel a painful hangover the day after : TYPICALL MIDNIGHT JERKS TOUR !
