Le premier album solo d’Elvis Aloys (Zanhfleisch, After 5.08), « About my family », sortait chez nous fin 2020. C’est avec brio que Jonee Rotten le rejoint sur le projet en live. Leur rencontre produira un split 7’’, gravé par Grand Voyage, deuxième de notre série : un enregistrement inédit de chaque artiste par face.
Des guitares mélodiques d’un côté, qui se révèlent dissonantes de l’autre, accompagnées d’orgues casio négociés sur anibis. Le tout pour soutenir une voix faussement naïve d’une Nico japonisante, et celle d’un crooner à la Lee Hazlewood, étrange dandy à lunettes sorti des vignes de la riviera suisse…

Elvis Aloys’ debut solo album « About my family » was out on our record label in september 20. Then Jonee Rotten joined him for the live version in a brillant association. Their gathering will produce a 7’’ split album, cut on vinyl by Grand Voyage, as the second duo of our series.
Picture Nico singing in japanese, and Lee Hazlewood as a weird dandy in the swiss vineyards, their voices supported by guitars as melodic as they are discordant, and cheap casio organs found on anibis…
